It's rarely necessary to discard a publication design and start over from scratch, and there's rarely a moment of "perfect change." Instead, makeovers that are successful usually result from a series of small, incremental changes. In this "before and after" case study, you'll see that no single change makes a tremendous difference in the featured newsletter. But together, small changes add up to major improvements in the image projected by the publication and in its readability. In this case study, however, there are more than 30 changes- some very large changes. You'll see that there is no inherent conflict between an attractive, readable design and the number of words that can fit on a page. You'll also see how it is possible to improve a publication while simultaneously decreasing the number of words on each page. For fundraising and outreach volunteers, Briget co-ordinates a wide range of awareness raising and fund raising events and activities and involves as many members, volunteers, friends and people from our local communities as possible. This is very much a hands-on role, and ways of planning and organizing events will vary according to the type of event and the people involved in that event. You would be working with the experienced Briget team to plan, target and respond to newsworthy events which could provide fundraising opportunities. Briget takes a PR role in encouraging volunteers, members and friends to support your association through taking part in fundraising and awareness-raising events and projects. The Briget team knows how to reach out to businesses, for corporate sponsorship or to appropriate charitable trusts; helping to develop and implement new ideas for raising awareness and funds

Briget's team members are carefully chosen for their ability to see a task through from beginning to end, and for their multi-tasking skills. Your support staff will be able to deal with lots of things going on at the same time and able to co-ordinate a group of people to do a specific job!
